The total market turnover increased slightly by 13%, reaching to TZS 410.34 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 363.08 million. Driven by increase in market activities.
CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 91.5% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, TPCC, NICO and TCCL.
Local investors dominated the purchase and sale sides entirely, there was no foreign investor participation recorded in the market.
The total market capitalization increased by 0.042% to TZS 17,909.18 billion, driven by price appreciations of EABL and JHL, a cross-listed stock. In contrast, the domestic market capitalization declined by 0.427% to TZS 12,175.95 billion, attributed to a price decrease in CRDB shares
CRDB is a stock loser after price fall by 3.08% to TZS 630. there was no stock gainer recorded in the market
The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 13.8610 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 14.5932 billion, encompassing 24 deals. The traded bonds include 20- and 25- year government bonds and CRDB and NMB corporate bonds.
