Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 385.3%, reached to TZS 3.66 billion compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 754.53 Million.

Top Movers:

TCC was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 49.18% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, CRDB, NICO and DSE.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated the purchase side by 46% and by 39.86% on the sale side. While foreign investor participation on sale side was 60.14% and by 54% on the purchase side, leading to the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 224.85 million.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.074% equivalent to TZS 18,543.49 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase by 0.188% equivalent to TZS 12,597.22 billion driven by CRDB.

Gainer & Losers:

CRDB was the only stock gainer, its price increased by 1.45% to TZS 700. While NICO was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 6.06% settled at TZS 620.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 19.6230 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 20.9965 billion, encompassing 6 deals. The traded bonds included were 20- and 25-year government bonds.
