Market Turnover:

The total market turnover decreased by 84.1%, reaching to TZS 424.71 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 2.66 billion. Driven by decrease in market activities.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 79.3% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, NICO, TPCC, and TCCL.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated entirely the purchase side and they account about 41.8% of the sales sides. While Foreign investor dominates the sale side by 58.2%, leading to the net foreign outflow of TZS 247.18 million.

Market Capitalization:

The total market capitalization experienced a slightly rise of 0.474% reaching at TZS 17,990.14 billion, driven by EABL's, KCB's and JHL's price appreciation While domestic market capitalization has declined by 0.008% to TZS 12,244.57 billion influenced by price fall of SWISS.

Gainer & Losers:

DSE is the only stock gainers driven by price increase of 0.85% to TZS 2,380. On the other hand SWIS is the stock loser driven by price decline by 3.64% to TZS 1,060.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 1.6090 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 1.6497 billion, encompassing 7 deals. The traded bonds include 10-, 20- and 25- year government bonds.
