Market Turnover:

he total market turnover increased by 6.3%, reached at TZS 590.42 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 555.22 million.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 85.68% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, TPCC, NICO and DSE.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated the purchase by 99.97% and the sales participation was 27.85%. While foreign investor participation on purchase and sales side was 0.03% and 72.15% respectively, leading to the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 425.81 million.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight decrease of 0.505% equivalent to TZS 18,877.01 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase by 0.186% equivalent to TZS 12,627.85 billion driven by TPCC.

Gainer & Losers:

TPCC was the only stock gainer, its price increased by 3.72% to TZS 3900. While DSE and NICO were the only stock losers in the market, their prices decreased by 0.85% and 3.23% to TZS 2320 and TZS 600 respectively.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 14.4389 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 15.3736 billion, encompassing 16 deals. The traded bonds included were 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB Corporate bond.
