Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 649.6%, reached at TZS 4.43 billion compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 590.42 million.

Top Movers:

VODA was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 90.52% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were CRDB, NMB, NICO and TPCC.

Market Participation:

Foreign investors dominated both purchase and sales side by 80.33% and 91.85% respectively. While local investor participation on purchase and sales side was 19.67% and 8.15% respectively, leading to the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 509.82 million.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.383% equivalent to TZS 18,949.24 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight decrease by 0.016% equivalent to TZS 12,625.80 billion dragged down by NICO and DCB.

Gainer & Losers:

There was no stock gainer, while NICO and DCB were the stock loser in the market, their prices decreased by 3.33% and 3.7% to TZS 580 and TZS 130 respectively.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 11.5625 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 11.9634 billion, encompassing 14 deals. The traded bonds included were 10-, 20- and 25-year government bonds.
