Market Turnover:

The total market turnover decreased by 60.1%, reached at TZS 1.77 billion compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 4.43 billion.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 71.75% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were TCC, NICO, NMB and TCCL.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated the purchase side by 86.43% and sales side by 33.74%. While foreign investors dominated the sales side by 66.26% and the purchase side by 13.57%, leading to the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 931.55 million.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight decrease of 0.372% equivalent to TZS 18,878.64 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight decrease by 0.421% equivalent to TZS 12,572.72 billion dragged down by NMB and NICO.

Gainer & Losers:

There was no stock gainer, while NMB and NICO were the stock loser in the market, their prices decreased by 1.72% and 8.62% to TZS 5700 and TZS 530 respectively.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 10.3048 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 10.8886 billion, encompassing 21 deals. The traded bonds included were 10-, 20- and 25-year government bonds.
