CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 89.66% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NICO, NMB, DCB and AFRIPRISE.
Local Investors dominated the purchase side by 99.37% and sales side by 16.17%, the foreign Investors dominated the sales side by 83.83% and the purchase side by 0.63%, leading to 250.46 million net foreign cash outflow.
Total market capitalization exhibits a slight decrease of 0.149% equivalent to TZS 19,282.74 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight decrease of 0.029% equivalent to TZS 12,809.31 billion. This is driven by NICO.
NICO was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 8.57% to TZS 640.
The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 45.8979 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 46.8903 billion, encompassing 43 deals. The traded bonds included were 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and CRDB Corporate Bond.
