Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 98.3%, reaching to TZS 657.09 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 331.44 million. Driven by increase in of the market activities. There was pre-arranged block trade on CRDB counter involving 426,500 shares traded at TZS 660.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 85.69% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NICO, NMB, NICO, AFRIPRISE, and TBL.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated the purchase side entirely and they account about 25.98% of the sales sides. While Foreign investor dominates the sale side by 74.02% leading to the net foreign outflow of TZS 486.38 million.

Market Capitalization:

Both total and domestic market capitalization experienced a slightly rise of 0.049% and 0.003% reaching at TZS 18,106.47 billion and TZS 12,215.90 billion respectively.

Gainer & Losers:

DSE emerged as the sole gainer, with its share price increasing by 1.68% to TZS 2,420. NICO was the only loser, with its share price dropped by 1.54% to TZS 640.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 45.4001 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 45.8416 billion, encompassing 57 deals. The traded bonds included are 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB corporate bonds.
