Market Turnover:

The total market turnover decreased by 38.5%, reached at TZS 1.09 billion compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 1.77 billion.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 97.25% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, DCB, DSE and AFRIPRISE.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated the purchase side by 86.43% and sales side by 33.74%. While foreign investors dominated the sales side by 66.26% and the purchase side by 13.57%, leading to the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 931.55 million.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.025% equivalent to TZS 18,883.43 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight decrease by 0.206% equivalent to TZS 12,546.86 billion driven by Maendeleo Bank Plc.

Gainer & Losers:

Maendeleo bank Plc was the stock gainer, its price changed by 3.23% to TZS 320 while CRDB was the stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 1.41% to TZS 700.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 2.5694 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 2.7181 billion, encompassing 15 deals. The traded bonds included were 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB Corporate bond.
