Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 152.4%, reached at TZS 759.83 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 301.03 million.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 33.67% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were TBL, VODA, NICO and NMB.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated both the purchase and sales side by 69.70% and 74.99%respectively. Foreign Investors sales side was 25.01% and the purchase side by 30.30%, leading to 40.19 million net foreign cash outflow.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight decrease of 1.155% equivalent to TZS 19,059.89 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight decrease of 0.008% equivalent to TZS 12,808.24 billion. This is driven by NICO and Maendeleo Bank Plc.

Gainer & Losers:

NICO and Maendeleo Bank Plc were the stock losers in the market, their prices decreased by 1.56% and 4.35% to TZS 630 and TZS 330 respectively.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 54.4704 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 55.4456 billion, encompassing 39 deals. The traded bonds included were 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds.
