Market Turnover:

The total market turnover decreased by 76.9%, reaching to TZS 151.46 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 657.09 million. Driven by decrease in of the market activities.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 57.31% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, SWIS, DSE, and TBL.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated the purchase side entirely and by 94.53% on the sale side. While Foreign investor participation account about 5.47% of the sale side, leading to the net foreign outflow of TZS 8.28 million.

Market Capitalization:

Both total and domestic market capitalization experienced a slightly decline of 0.282% and 0.005% reaching at TZS 18,055.41 billion and TZS 12,215.34 billion respectively.

Gainer & Losers:

AFRIPRISE emerged as the sole gainer, with its share price increasing by 2.33% to TZS 220. DSE and DCB were stock losers, with their share price dropped by 0.83% and 3.57% to TZS 2,400 and TZS 135 respectively.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 21.4982 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 21.7335 billion, encompassing 42 deals. The traded bonds included are 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and CRDB corporate bonds.
