Market Turnover:

The total market turnover decreased by 67.1%, reaching to TZS 203.44 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 560.20 million. Driven by significantly dropped of the market activities.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 79.58% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were TPCC, NMB, AFRIPRISE, and TCCL.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated the purchase side by 99.97% and account about 35.12% on the sale side. While Foreign investor participation dominated the sale side by 64.88% and accounting about 0.03%, leading to the net foreign outflow of TZS 131.93 million.

Market Capitalization:

Both total and domestic market capitalization experienced a slightly increase of 0.186% and 0.246% reaching TZS 18,143.69 billion and TZS 12,244.88 billion respectively.

Gainer & Losers:

TPCC and NICO are the stock gainers, their price increased by 4.44% and 3.13% reaching TZS 3,760 and TZS 660 respectively. There was no stock loser in the market.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 2.1555 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 2.1998 billion, encompassing 19 deals. The traded bonds included are 20- and 25-year government bonds and CRDB & NBC corporate bonds.
