Market Turnover:

The total market turnover decreased by 13.4%, reached at TZS 683.67 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 789.59 million.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 82% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were MKCB, TPCC, NMB, and NICO.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated the purchase side by 100.00% and sales side by 32.39%. While foreign investors dominated the sales side by 67.61%, leading to the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 462.23 million.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.300% equivalent to TZS 18,964.18 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight decrease by 0.038% equivalent to TZS 12,597.43 billion dragged down by CRDB, AFRIPRISE and Maendeleo Bank Plc.

Gainer & Losers:

NICO, DCB, MKCB and TPCC were the stock gainers in the market, their prices increased by 8.62%, 3.85%, 3.45% and 2.56% to TZS 630, TZS 135, TZS 600, TZS 4000 respectively. While CRDB, AFRIPRISE and Maendeleo Bank were the stock loser in the market, their prices decreased by 1.39%, 2.27% and 3.13% to TZS 710, TZS 215 and TZS 310 respectively.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 0.1820 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 0.1899 billion, encompassing 8 deals. The traded bonds included were 2-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB Corporate bond.
