Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 61.9%, reached at TZS 1.11 billion compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 683.67 million.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 93.69% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, NICO, AFRIPRISE and DCB.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated both the purchase side and sales side by 100%, leading to absence of net foreign cash outflow.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.566% equivalent to TZS 19,072.67 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase by 0.210% equivalent to TZS 12,625.10 billion driven by AFRIPRISE, NICO and CRDB.

Gainer & Losers:

AFRIPRISE, NICO and CRDB were the stock gainers in the market, their prices increased by 2.33%, 1.59% and 1.41% to TZS 220, TZS 640 and TZS 720 respectively. While DSE was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 1.72% to TZS 2280.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 14.5990 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 15.3977 billion, encompassing 18 deals. The traded bonds included were 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB Corporate bond.
