The total market turnover decreased by 34.4%, reached at TZS 1.75 billion compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 2.67 billion.
NMB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 33.75% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were TBL, CRDB, DSE and VODA.
Local Investors dominated both the purchase and sales side by 100.00% and 86.76% respectively. Foreign Investors' sales side was 13.24%, leading to 232.0 million net foreign cash outflow.
Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.285% equivalent to TZS 19,216.35 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase of 0.204% equivalent to TZS 12,835.08 billion. This is driven by CRDB.
CRDB was the only stock gainer in the market, its price increased by 1.32% to TZS 770.
The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 3.1721 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 3.3631 billion, encompassing 17 deals. The traded bonds included were 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB Corporate bond.
