Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 112.0%, reaching to TZS 431.34 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 203.44 million. Driven by significantly increase of the market activities.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 97.16% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NICO, TPCC, DSE and SWIS.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated both the purchase and sales side by 99.99% and 63.56% respectively. While Foreign investor participation the sale side by 36.44% and accounting about 0.01%, leading to the net foreign outflow of TZS 157.14 million.

Market Capitalization:

Both total and domestic market capitalization experienced a slightly increase of 0.067% and 0.031% reaching TZS 18,155.83 billion and TZS 12,248.72 billion respectively.

Gainer & Losers:

SWIS and MKOMBOZI are the stock gainers, their price increased by 10.00% and 1.85% reaching TZS 1100 and TZS 550 respectively.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 10.4685 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 10.8423 billion, encompassing 16 deals. The traded bonds included are 20- and 25-year government bonds, NMB and CRDB corporate bonds.
