Market Turnover:

The total market turnover for the week increased by 38.27%, reached at TZS 8.50 billion compared to the previous week's figure of TZS 6.15 billion.

Top Movers:

TBL was the top mover of the market on the week under review, contributing about 44.47% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were CRDB, NMB, DSE, TPCC and VODA.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated both the purchase and sales side by 99.62% and 63.38% respectively. While foreign investors sales side was 36.62% and purchase side was 0.38%, leading to net foreign cash outflow of TZS 3.08 billion.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a decrease of 0.03% equivalent to TZS 19,220.68 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase by 0.24% equivalent to TZS 12,839.41 billion.

Gainer & Losers:

NICO, SWIS, AFRIPRISE and CRDB were the stock gainers, their prices increased by 17.46%, 9.09%, 2.27% and 1.32% to TZS 740, TZS 1200, TZS 225 and TZS 770 respectively. While Tanga Cement Plc was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 5.26% to TZS 1800.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 94.9704 billion. The total turnover value for these bonds amounted to TZS 104.5269 billion, encompassing 70 deals. The traded bonds included were 7-, 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds, CRDB and NMB Corporate bonds.
