Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 59.4%, reached at TZS 794.71 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 498.72 million.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 74.03% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were TPCC, NMB, NICO and AFRIPRISE.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated both the purchase side by 100% and sales side by 47.64%, the foreign Investors dominated the sales side by 52.36%, leading to 416.11 million net foreign cash outflow.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.003% equivalent to TZS 19,043.93 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase by 0.004% equivalent to TZS 12,731.92 billion driven by Maendeleo Bank Plc, DSE and NICO.

Gainer & Losers:

Maendeleo Bank Plc and DSE were the stock gainers in the market, their prices increased by 3.13% and 2.63% to TZS 330 and TZS 2340 respectively. While NICO was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 2.90% to TZS 670.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 10.5790 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 10.9517 billion, encompassing 25 deals. The traded bonds included were 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB Corporate bond.
