The total market turnover decreased by 31.5%, reached at TZS 635.53 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 927.34 million.
CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 92.57% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, AFRIPRISE, DSE and NICO.
Local Investors dominated the purchase side by 100.00% and the sales side by 46.14%. While foreign investors dominated the sales side by 53.86%, this leading to TZS 342.29 million as the net foreign cash outflow.
Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.077% equivalent to TZS 18,937.97 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase of 0.005% equivalent to TZS 12,974.66 billion. This is driven by NICO.
NICO was the only stock gainer in the market, its price increased by 1.45% to TZS 700.
The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totalling TZS 11.7903 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 12.5045 billion, encompassing 16 deals. The traded bonds included were 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds.
