The total market turnover increased by 205%, reached at TZS 2.06 billion compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 676.85 Million.
CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 84.45% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were TCC, NMB, TBL and NICO.
Local investors dominated the purchase side entirely by 100% and by 53.88% on the sale side. While Foreign investor participation on sale side was 46.12%, leading to the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 952.2 million.
Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 1.850% settled at TZS 18,885.28 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase by 1.004% equivalent to TZS 12,574.05 billion driven by NMB.
NMB was the only stock gainer, its price increased by 4.46% to TZS 5850. There was no stock loser in the market.
The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 6.0097 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 6.2817 billion, encompassing 10 deals. The traded bonds included were 20- and 25-year government bonds and CRDB corporate bonds.
