The total market turnover decreased by 76.7%, settled at TZS 481.61 Million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 2.06 Billion.
CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 92.56% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NICO, NMB, DSE and AFRIPRISE.
Local investors dominated both the sales side entirely by 100% and by 93.85% on the sale side. While Foreign investor participation on sale side was 6.15%, leading to the net foreign cash inflow of TZS 29.62 million.
Total market capitalization exhibits a slight decrease of 1.052% settled at TZS 18,686.53 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase by 0.208% equivalent to TZS 12,600.17 billion driven by CRDB.
CRDB was the only stock gainer, its price increased by 1.45% to TZS 700. There was no stock loser in the market.
The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 53.2896 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 55.2688 billion, encompassing 21 deals. The traded bonds included were 20- and 25-year government bonds.
