Market Turnover:

The total market turnover decreased by 77.7%, reached at TZS 324.72 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 1.46 billion.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 84.41% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, AFRIPRISE, TPCC and DSE.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated both the purchase and sales side by 100.00%, this leading to absence of the net foreign cash outflow.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.289% equivalent to TZS 19,075.28 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase of 0.194% equivalent to TZS 13,048.71 billion. This is driven by CRDB and DCB.

Gainer & Losers:

CRDB was the only stock gainer in the market, its price increased by 1.27% to TZS 800. On the other side, DCB was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 4.17% to TZS 115.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totalling TZS 22.2237 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 22.2187 billion, encompassing 29 deals. The traded bonds included were 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and AZA Corporate bond.
