Market Turnover:

The total market turnover decreased by 467.48%, reaching to TZS 467.48 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 2.37 billion. Driven by decrease in market activities specifically on DSE counter.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 87.41% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, TPCC, AFRIPRISE and SWIS.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated both the purchase and sales side by 100% and 68.32% respectively. Foreign investor participated on the sales side by 31.68%, leading to the net foreign outflow of TZS 319.38 million.

Market Capitalization:

Both the total market capitalization and domestic market capitalization have experienced a modest increase of 0.6% and 0.005%, reaching TZS 17,951.19 billion and TZS 12,244.2 billion respectively.

Gainer & Losers:

NICO is the only stock gainer driven by price increase of 1.56% to TZS 650. There was no stock loser recorded today.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 3.0853 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 2.9862 billion, encompassing 12 deals. The traded bonds include 15-, 20- and 25- year government bonds and NBC and NMB Corporates bonds.
