Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 567.6%, reached at TZS 3.68 billion compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 550.74 million.

Top Movers:

TBL was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 78.26% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were CRDB, TPCC, DSE and NMB.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated the purchase by 97.20% and sale side by 32.6%. While foreign investors dominated the sales side by 67.33% and purchase side by 2.80%, leading to net foreign cash outflow of TZS 2,372.49 million.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a decrease of 1.375% equivalent to TZS 18,842.78 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase of 0.062% equivalent to TZS 12,977.51 billion. This is driven by MKCB, AFRIPRISE, TPCC and NICO.

Gainer & Losers:

MKCB, AFRIPRISE and TPCC were the stock gainers in the market, their prices increased by 5.56%, 2.17% and 1.00% to TZS 570, TZS 235 and TZS 4060. While NICO was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 1.37% to TZS 720.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 22.1027 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 23.2058 billion, encompassing 42 deals. The traded bonds included were 20- and 25-year government bonds and AZA Corporate bonds.
