The total market turnover for the week increased by 24.86%, reached at TZS 8.66 billion compared to the previous week's figure of TZS 6.94 billion.
VODA was the top mover of the market on the week under review, contributing about 46.30% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were CRDB, NMB, TCC, NICO and DSE.
Local investors dominated the purchase side by 55.03% and the sales side by 30.93%. While foreign investors dominated the sales side by 69.07% and purchase side by 44.97%, leading to the decrease of the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 2.09 billion.
Total market capitalization exhibits a decrease of 0.34% equivalent to TZS 18,907.38 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight decrease by 0.02% equivalent to TZS 12,602.18 billion.
TPCC, Maendeleo Bank and CRDB were the stock gainers, their prices increased by 3.72%, 3.23% and 1.41% to TZS 3900, TZS 320 and TZS 720 respectively. While DSE, NMB, DCB and NICO were the stock losers in the market, their prices decreased by 0.85%, 1.72%, 3.70% and 6.45% to TZS 2320, TZS 5700, TZS 130 and TZS 580 respectively.
The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 51.0424 billion. The total turnover value for these bonds amounted to TZS 53.3928 billion, encompassing 80 deals. The traded bonds included were 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB and KCB Corporate bonds.
