The total market turnover for the week increased by 70.34%, reached at TZS 8.61 billion compared to the previous week's figure of TZS 5.06 billion.
TBL was the top mover of the market on the week under review, contributing about 65.97% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were CRDB, NMB, TCCL, NICO and TPCC
Local investors dominated the purchase side by around 94% and the sales side by 59.94%. While foreign investors dominated the sales side by 40.06% and purchase side by 5.86%, leading to the decrease of the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 2.95 billion.
Total market capitalization exhibits a increase of 1.11% equivalent to TZS 19,367.02 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase by 0.41% equivalent to TZS 12,817.39 billion.
Maendeleo Bank Plc, CRDB and AFRIPRISE were the stock gainers, their prices increased by 3.03%, 2.7% and 2.33% to TZS 340, TZS 760 and TZS 220 respectively. While DSE and DCB were the stock losers in the market, their prices decreased by 0.85% and 3.7% to TZS 2320 and TZS 130 respectively.
The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 170.9130 billion. The total turnover value for these bonds amounted to TZS 163.5724 billion, encompassing 81 deals. The traded bonds included were 7-, 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB and CRDB Corporate bonds.
